Background
Roger Hill is an Acoustician and Applied Physicist and has spent his career dealing with problems related to acoustics and NDT. He is a member of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA), and Fellow of the Institute of Physics (F.Inst.P). He has researched and worked on acoustic and NDT applications, involving acoustic emission (AE) and related acoustic and transduction problems.

In the field of audio acoustics, he taught degree level courses for many years, and taught on postgraduate courses on environmental noise and NDT. He is now involved in noise and acoustic, industrial and NDT projects as a consultant.Roger Hill has worked at academic institutions in Nottingham, Aberdeen, Birmingham and London.

He is now Principal Consultant with Kogan Consulting specialising in acoustics, noise,vibrations and NDT . He has lived / worked in the United States and has travelled widely and presented over 100 papers in Europe, the US and the Far East related to his acoustic and NDT interests.
